This adapter attaches to the M54 thread found under the rubber eyeguard of Hyperion fixed focal length eyepieces (full set 2454600), it extends the length of the thread on the eyepiece which is required in some configurations to eliminate some abberations when using Baader's Digital-T adapters for afocal projection photography
